The product seems to be excellent. The problem is the bottle it is delivered in. Mine leaks badly when pouring the garlic boost, so much so that it ends up as a pool on the counter top. Hopefully mine is the outlier and other people don't have the same problem.

Premium Amalgam UV Systems
The 80 watt amalgam UV unit is engineered for durability and high performance. Constructed from 316 Stainless Steel, this unit stands out from most competitors that use 304 Stainless Steel—a more affordable option, yet less effective in marine environments. By utilizing 316 Stainless Steel, we ensure longevity and exceptional quality for our customers. We, at GC Tek, are proud to provide these top-of-the-line UV systems that prioritize excellence.
When it comes to lamps, you may find typical options lasting around 9,000 hours; however, this amalgam unit offers an impressive lifespan of 13,000 hours. We strive to bring you superior products at reasonable prices. A glance at the market will show that many plastic units are priced higher than our durable amalgam options, without providing the same level of effectiveness.
One of the pivotal reasons to choose our amalgam technology over regular or high output (HO) options is the immense power it delivers, being 2 to 5 times more effective. The 80 watt amalgam UV unit is designed with robust Schedule 80 unions to ensure a strong and lasting connection.
- The entire design of the NishikigoiUV units—from the smallest components to the larger units—is built with durability in mind.
- Why opt for less when you can enjoy top-tier quality without the higher price tag?
- This unit is rated for 4,800 gallons per hour (GPH), making it suitable for ponds up to 5,000 gallons with an ideal turnover rate of once per hour. This is considered the 'Perfect World' scenario for pond water clarity.
- Choosing this UV unit means valuing quality and performance over less effective plastic alternatives.
- Remember, the best products do not need to come with an extravagant price!
